Replaced pedal bushings with bronze kit.
I have records for this car going back to '74 and they had never been
replaced. The condition was amazingly good for ~44 years. MC probably
never leaked in there, but still, I could have left these alone. The only
issues were caused by removal.

Mrs. Claus and I took the 'BB' for a drive to some friends' for a Christmas Eve get together. It's the first time she's been in the car in a long time.
She thought it was still that old junk car she bought me for Christmas back in 2006
Punched the go pedal when it was safe to do so, and she said where's the grab handles!

Took it out for a little spin this evening too

HotShoe, tell me you didn't Drive to Colorado & Hershey with this!. Really a Zip-Tie on the Throttle Linkage! You need to go the 914World corner for a Time-Out!
Yeah... I found that when trying to tune TC's carbs. There is a lot of slop in the linkage currently, which makes it basically pointless to try and tune. I need to spend some time with it to see what I can improve.
Anyhow, yesterday I finally decided to start testing my SSIs that I got on Ebay last year. Used two rubber plugs and drilled one for a valve stem. Added water to the pipe, then hooked up my cheapo 12v compressor. Results: only one pipe holds air currently.
The good news is that on the ones that were leaking, the leaks were visible outside of the HE portion. Mostly small cracks around the top of the portion that bolts to the heads. Should be able to file then and fill with a few short welds.

I moved the fuel pump on my 73 to the trunk year's ago. Yesterday I finished running the fuel pump wiring along the harness through the tunnel. The wiring used to be along the A/C lines along the rocker. I removed the A/C as part of my restoration.

Installed stainless steel fuel lines from Tangerine Racing. Very nice product! Was a little scary to pull out the old lines to fined that they had been partly replaced with rubber hose. Not only was 40 year old plastic used to clamp on rubber hose, but the hose was not even fuel hose.
Well at least my car has been on jack stands more than the road so the inevitable fire did not happen while I was driving. With the SS lines that problem is solved.

Installed the EBL piggyback board in the '7747 and got about half done on the GM<->JimStim wiring. Marked up the EBL wiring diagrams for the transplant.
Cleaned up the wiring for the Painless F5 fan controller; just need to terminate the new 4ga power run under the dashboard and find a 3/4 to 3/8 NPT adapter for the sensor. Maybe then the lights won't dim when the fans spin up...

Bob, you might want to slide a piece of heat-shrink tubing (or other thin wall rubber tubing) over that tab so it doesn't wear a hole in the aluminum fuel line over time.

Took mine for a 45 minute run from Shrewsbury to Stewartstown to Red Lion to Glen Rock returned to home. Hadn't run it in two months due to weather and snow. Also it's in the garage with no paved driveway about 300' off the road. Had to wait for the snow to melt then for the soft ground to refreeze so I could get it out. Tomorrow another big snow in the forcast so today was the time to go. Also ran the 69 Chevy Truck to get both up to full temperature and driven for several miles in order to heat up, pump engine oil, tranny, and rear. Good for them not to sit too long.

Beat up the cars today chasing down other Porsches on the annual New Years Day drive. Porsche of Livermore catered breakfast for 150 drivers and guest. Huge turn out and great road conditions. Drove the crap out of the cars. Kathy was able to keep up with all the six cylinder cars by staying off the brakes and driving thru the corners.

Installed a Weblink throttle return spring in hopes to finally get enough tension to close the slave carb all the way with the Tangerine kit. It worked! Adjusted the valves, re-timed it, synched the carbs, threw in some 110 fuel and took it around the block. What a difference! Pics to follow soon.
