Thanks Jim -
still no joy on the AA site, is it down?
round does not sound like the ideal ticket - maybe there is a group buy in the making here?
anyone?

What we all want obviously could vary quite a bit depending upon the end goals. I have an LS motor in my car...an aluminum plate I make (real nice) is sufficient for me vs. having to get the "exact" GT cloned version. I do recognize others may not feel the same as me - I respect that too. I could have the pins CNC'D to exact dimensions but would have to have a "group buy" thing to do so.
If anyone REALLY is serious about that chime in and I'll look into what it would take by #'s (ordered) to tie up the machine. Thanks Jim for you help too! Merry Christmas to all!

Hey Tony -
I'd be good with an alum piece that is the right shape - vs exact period correct plates. I'm in for 4 pins / clips, too!

I agree with you Terry - Paragon or something similiar would be much easier and cheaper. I thought I had a lead on 930 trailing arms for you but it wasn't so...

I got a kit from Mittelmotor. $$$. The pins are just standard pieces available anywhere, but the stainless plates are special pieces with an odd shape that I did not want to try to fabricate. They're probably waterjet or laser cut (?)

You could check with Hans or Eddie at Kundensport. They are very likely to either have some in-house or know of a supplier for them.

You are going to have to make your own like I did.

Okay...after all this I ended up just going with the Partick Motorsports Pin Kit.
One reason for my decision was the I'm using Steel Hood/Trunk lids - not fiberglass. Thanks for the input fella's!
