Well Just finished cleaning one wheel, I clean meticulously, and Boy does It look good, did not expect whatsoever this result. Thanks a ton Brad, now what where you telling me about that 5 lug stuff? I love the fit with 225's, next on my list after I find some 5 lug stuff, is Im going to roll/pull the fenders till my hands are bleeding..

I have the fronts ready to go (5 lug)

Hard to figure out what you need when the suspension is at full droop.

Wheels look good. I knew they would clean up.

I should hire you to clean parts around our place..LOL

The real magic was the stuff I used, although its not avalible to most people. But Mother Chrome polish would have given me about the same result, I'll use it as a cutter on the other one's. Well let me know how much you want for your front setup, and if I cant find a better deal by the Parts heaven swapmeet I might take you up on the offer.. And hireing me? Boy would I love it, but I aint driving 2 hours every day! lol, although thats just the kind of work Im looking for!

I have an extra room at the house.... Do you need a summer gig ?? I can pay with parts or cash. I started doing all this when I was 15 and worked for parts until I didnt need any...LOL

You can work 3-4 days a week and help out at the track on the weekends..

Hi Andyrew,

The Fuchs look very nice. Are you serious about rolling/pulling your fenders? I think you will have a problem getting enough clearance with that technique. I'm working on a new way of making flares on the car for do-it-yourselfers...no welding involved, but a lot of elbow grease, and a few inexpensive tools. It involves stretching and shrinking using a mallet, shot dolly, slapper, a dolly, and a shrinking disc. I'm hoping to be able to get the same shape as my custom steel flares without the waiting time (those on my waiting list know what I'm talking about). If it all works out, I'll be putting together a kit with tools and instructions. I won't know anymore until I get a friend's 914 in for experimenting. Hopefully in the next month or so.

It actually shows a lot more shrinking than what I plan to do, but it is the same concept. For flares you want the stretching so you would only be shrinking the high spots made by the mallet. Part of the smoothing process.

John, Actually I like the meathod your talking about and thought about doing it, if it is inexpensive, and according to my knowledge work with the rolling, pulling, banging with mallet. Tell me when you will be able to start selling the kits, or if you could pull a kit together I might be interested!

Brad, Ya know what? I would love that job. Sounds like alot of fun! My weekends are going to be full of autoxing with my dad and track events! If only I can convince my parents, hmmmm...

For those who can't see. The brand is DryWash. It's one of the "you sell it then you become the dealer to get a better price then you get someone to become a dealer" and so on..

I bought some of the regular product for the paint finishes. Works good, we'll see how it holds up. Maybe my dad will make me a dealer, then I can make Andrew a deale.... Should I get the whiteboard out and draw triangles?
