I am reinstalling the fuel injection system on my '73 1.7 after experimenting with a single carb. How many feet of fuel line will I need to go from where the fuel lines leave the rear of the floor pan to the fuel pump and up and around the engine compartment? I threw away the old pieces years ago so I have nothing to use for a pattern.
Also, are there 2 sizes involved; 7mm and 9mm?
I had a local auto parts store tell me that FI type fuel line cost $5 per ft. Does that sound right? I thought expensive.

7mm is all you will need, plus the special adpater hose. The diagram for the topside engine bay is for a 2.0L, the 1.7L shoud not be much different.
