I like it but I can buy a real rusty teener for that price.

IMHO it is close but there are some important problems. - No critter tracks - Window wiped off in middle, should be by VIN and registration - rear springs not sagging
See the following original concourse barn find picture:
I think it would have been cool to have the interior without the dust treatment. Would look like it had been sealed for all those years in the barn.

WOW! That's amazing. Love the stuffing coming out of the drivers seat, what detail. Only thing I can think of would to add a couple dings and flatten the tires a little.

It's a euro car, so no VIN tag on the pillar and no US registration sticker.
Window wiped in the middle seems perfectly OK for a euro car.

Point well taken. I always get tripped up with the concourse judging (mainly because that's my real barn find) however I stand by the critters as authentic.

AutoArt is selling it new in Orange, Silver & White/L80E for about half that price - no rust or dirt!
I wonder if this seller didn't just docter up pne of those then try to get about 100% profit?

I believe that is exactly what he did and I see no problem with that at all. I would love to add that car to my collection but I just bought one of the Light Ivory ones. The work he did on that car is worth the added costs IMHO. Very cool model.

#3 is funny as hell. I have told my brother a couple of times when I have seen '73 2.0 cars become available that I like that if I had a place to hide one (from the wife) I would be very tempted to buy the car for my next project. Yeah....my wife scares the hell out of me!

First line of his ad :
This is my custom made barn find version of AUTOart's amazing Porsche 914/6. Sorry, the year of the car is not mentioned on the package and I don't want to guess and be wrong. Never offered by AUTOart like this! Weathered with professional weathering supplies.

This guy has done a pretty fantastic job. I like the hand prints on the roof where someone leaned over to look inside. I've actually owned cars that were that dusty.
