Hello all.
I have a 1974 2.0 914. I am only getting power to one bank of injectors. Only the drivers side are working. I switched injectors from side to side and the injectors are fine, although 2 are green and 2 are yellow. But all 4 work only when on the drivers side.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to were I should start looking for the problem? Only owned the car for a week and not realfamiliarr with these older cars but really excited about fixing this one up and driving her.

1.) Trigger points in distributor (requires dizzy removal)

2.) Wires from trigger points to injectors .. check continuity with VOM .. signal comes from ECU connector

3.) ECU harness grounds ...multi-tab attached to case bolt at flywheel end of case

Green injectors are correct for your engine ...

Yellow injectors are 1.7L and may cause those cylinders to run a tad lean.

#1 is good. Car had no spark when I bought it. Rebuilt/cleaned the distributor and got spark. I cleaned the trigger points and they worked good.
Fixing to go out and pull the ECU and check connections there.
I'll look for the ground wire while I'm out there.
Kinda seems funny to me that only one side works.

Not really, that's how the FI trigger points usually fail ...

Wrong trigger points i'm afraid. These are at the bottom of the distributor.

Those were the ones I was talking about. They slide out of the side and has 2 triggers for the injectors.
It's been converted to electronic so there are no points.
