I'm having problems controlling my email notifications. I check the box "email notifications" with "no notification" and I have un-checked the box. Doesn't seem to matter what I do the emails keep coming??

You probably subscribed to the garage forum itself.
Go to "My Controls/Subscriptions/View Forums" and unsubscribe ...
