good point on the breather path, which reminded me that some of these cars came with an oil-bath air cleaner that could well slosh oil out under hard cornering, especially if overfilled.
we still have no idea what 74bajared914's problem is.
he has listed some symptoms but not reported back the answers to any of the followup questions that would help us narrow it down...
breather issues are almost always solvable, unless the cause is excessive blowby from tired rings, which is yet another reason why they're bad news...
