You asked and here they comes.

I bought 4 metric and standard swivel ends (or what ever they are. I dont know the right name. I call them here swivel ends).

I forgot to measure, but I think the thread is M14 and the diameter of the ball is 10mm.

I had to use one shim between the swivel ends. Now the angle between both ends is right when I thighten them.

Enjoy the pics.

The ball ends in the sway bar are originals and the swivel ends are bolt on to them. They are tight and fits like a..... very well.

I didnt have the original sway bar bolts for shock absorbers. I welded the ball ends to my no sway bar bolts.

Hey I was just staring up at mine last night while adjusting my valves. Poor beat up and cracked polyurethane things. So where did you get these? What size or part number did you get? and most importantly What they cost man?

I was thinking of doing the same as the front Weltmiester bar. But what you got looks ALOT better.

....and this one is last.

Sorry, but if you didnt notice I am from Finland, north Europe. I have NO idea where you can buy them there. But, next week I can try to find some part number or code. What they cost..... oooh, not much. I think they all were under $50.

Hmmm.... should I start selling REAR DROP LINK KITS w00t.gif

Thanks Timo. I had NO idea you could buy ends that BIG for the ball socket setup.

I've got the same type of sockets on my Snug-Top bed cover, a little smaller of course......I'll take a look at them this weekend to see if there are any logos or company ID on them

Very nice...

anyone know where in the US to get some ball ends like this.... I need shorter rear drop links as the local sanctioning body will not allow me to mount my rear bar in the rear trunk.

Why would you need to install it in the trunk? I installed my upside-down so that it doesn't smack the bottom of the trunk under load.

Britian,

when last I tried (couple of years ago)
I experimented with different mounting combos but still didn't have enough clearance either way...

I think the bar I have is a welt rear...
not sure, but it might be longer links than stock
