I used 0.010 thickness aluminum sheet for the reflector ( shown as above)

Push bulb holder into hole with a little gasket sealer or RTV to seal it

Put reflector in

Put lens on, install bucket, wire & wella

Ok, so I'm cheap and cut the bulb holders out of wrecked cars.

Finished:

1.) It's the Euro running light

2.) I wire it to the side marker wires with a soldering gun and shrink tube ... :duh:

3.) My bad ... I thought I put it in the Sandbox.

What more could you ask?

I wonder if this could be done by disassembling the US side marker "warts"? For those who are doing away with those.

That's easier than what I did.

I created tiny seats with 2 small holes that fastened to the cast in place pegs of the turn signal bucket. My holders fit into my seats and hold 5W bayonet bulbs. My wires feed up the bucket and are held in place with the cast in place pegs running along the bottom of the buckets. My wires feed down to the plastic plug on the back of the turn signal bucket and I did my wiring inside the rubber boots.

Any pics of it operational..... poke.gif
