I have a 1972 Porsche 914 1.7L for sale. I'm the 2nd owner. 105,000 on the body and motor (it rolls over at 99, so I assume it is at 100 and not 200). The motor runs really well, I have been on top of the valves and engine timing and they are dialed right now. I haven't run a compression test, but i don't have any reason to suspect leaky cylinders, so I would guess the "bottom end" of the motor is money.

I recently pulled the engine and did some work to the outside of the engine.
New hoses (fuel and air)
Changed the clutch to a good used one
Replaced center tunnel fuel lines with SS ones
New shift bushings
Powdercoated all the engine tin
New Seals (Right now the oil drain plug seems to be the only thing leaking)
Probably a couple other things

Inside the car is in good shape. Some plastic things are cracked, but the seats are cherry.

Paint is fair.

Tires are good.

The car is up for sale because I'm looking for a more race oriented car. I'd rather not mess up the originality of this car to create a track machine. Also, this car has never been on a track.

Send any questions to the email on craigslist. I can provide pictures.

Having already recieved two spam emails, please write 914 914 914 at the top of your email so I know you are not a robot. Thanks!
