seems i recall that the engine/transaxle mounting changed with the arrival of the G50. yes? no?

put another way: can i mount a 930 or 915 trans/diff on an engine that originally mated to a G50, or is that the "cut it - section it - reweld it" bellhousing mod ?

It bolts right on. Porsche changed the mounting only in the 996 and 986.

Even the Carrera cup tranny will bolt to a T4 engine.
