Centered near Trinidad, CA. That's in a very sparsely populated area of California, even though it's on the coast (where 90% of the population live).
I believe we have one member from Arcata who just recently posted about driving his car from the bay area back to Arcata and broke down a few miles from his destination. Maybe he will report in. But I would doubt there would be much damage ..... tremors of that magnitude, while not an every day or even every year occurrence, are not that uncommon.

Did not feel anything here in Flagstaff, AZ!!!! I remember the Loma Prieta Quake!!! Now that one we felt when were in the Bay Area.

Well, I was in the middle of teaching my Survey of Jazz and Pop class, had a youtube showing of Louis Armstrong (stills and a 1920's recording, gotta love the internet) and we noticed the projector shimmying and then felt it.
