Per the rules of this board, you have to let us know if you are selling or want to buy a splitter for your 914....

It's 'cause 914s don't go fast enough to need one?

So, what's the reason for a "splitter"? Down force? Aerodynamic advantages? Looks cool? I would think if it had a positive angle of attack (which looks to be the case with Trekkors car), it would cause lift? And that's not good right?

Why no one talks about splitters on 914's???
We were all sworn to secrecy after this clandestine project.

so a un-engineered piece of corregated cardboard and some strips of dollar store duct tape - seems to be the way to go.

Splitters can reduce Cd and reduce front end lift. In the case of the Boss, it did both....but we did a lot of testing and had to keep street car things in mind.

it can be as simple as letting less air getting under the car or creating a low presure zone behind it

non stock aerodynamic aide costs 5 points that I need for tires below 49 tread wear
