anyone know a good source for finding a side shifter linkage setup?
any advantages to a short throw and would that effect the linkage setup?

if you haven't done so already, look through the classifieds here first.

then, the usual parts outlets, for example:

Parts Heaven


the short throw is more of a personal preference rather than a actual improvement.
on a shifter setup with worn bushings, a short-shifter can actually make things worse.

get all new bushings with your linkage. if your car was originally a tailshifter, make sure
you get the *correct* adapter bushing for the firewall. that'll make a BIG difference.
