Hi All -
Going to install the flywheel and clutch tonight on my conversion - hoping to actually mate the tranny back to the motor too.

Does the pilot bearing get tapped in from the engine side or from the clutch side of the flywheel? The PET is not totally clear and I do not have the old parts for reference.

I am guessing it is from the clutch disc side - I just want to be sure.

... was gonna answer but it's been too long since that motor was in the car... better to listen!

As I remember, without looking, there is a relief on the back side of the flywheel it fits into .... so ... backside of flywheel

Just don't put it on the crank. That'll make for some fun times with tranny oil ...
