Over the last 30 - 40 minutes, we've seen about two dozen fighter jets pass by overhead, flying low enough to make my house rattle. They appear to be F-15's. Now, there is a military installation in Kokomo about an hour north of here, but the planes are criss-crossing all over the place. And in the 5 years I've lived in this house, I can only remember seeing fighters in the sky 3 times, and they were one-off things, not constant for this long.

No word on CNN or MSNBC or the local news. And being 9/11, I'm a little spooked...prolly don't need to be, but ya know?

Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

I just saw a story on the news about a ceremony in Fishers for the 9/11 anniversary.

Maybe that was it.

That was weird....as I was writing the post, those were the last planes that came by.
Ah well. Guess I scared them away. I think I need a beer...
