not sure what the point of this thread is...

if it's originallity, those floor mats are really nice. were those on the BOS sale too?

One of my 914's had that shift knob...I just assumed it was aftermarket.

That was an AMCO Porsche crest shift knob that sold for $5.00 in `73 - actually for any of their various marque crested & shift pattern cloissonne shift knobs - & I doubt that they went up 10x 73-76.

I know, I have the original 73 MT or R&T with their ad, plus my PO had done the same thing & swapped for that same type of knob. I'll have to dig out that old magazine & shoot the ad to post on here when I get a chance.
