I've learned: A great deal about the history of fuel injection (I like history). Why FI is "better." The differences between type 1 and type 4 engines. How to work on disc brakes. A quantum leap in auto-electric "expertise." What the "society for automotive engineers" does. That there are a lot of smart mechanics in all kinds of places. And much more than I can recall here about 914's.

I've also learned about Subaru's. European part numbers, "Autocross" and the difference between an upgrade" and a "gimmick."

Most importantly, because of the help I've received from this board, a car that spent 23 years in a horse barn is back on the road.
