I went to Lew's service yesterday and I'm glad I did. I never thought I would say that I enjoyed a memorial but I did. Wow, Lew had lots of friends. Musta been 100+ in attendance. There were some great stories told as well as the sharing of tears and laughter. Al & Shirlee (Als914), Cesar (Phatt911) and Ravi & wife (Hemi300???) were also there representing the 914World/Dawn Patrol. Sadly enough, one tail dragger slipped thru security and was spotted and the end of the parking lot. Al has taken the responsibility of selling Lew's 914, his pride n joy. It would behoove those of you considering one of these to watch the 914 classifieds. My understanding is that it will be offered here, first.

Very sorry I couldn't be there. I'm glad however that someone from our group showed up. RIP Lew.
