Not sure if people up there are aware of this but it could be a good place to get exotic raw materials (titanuim, aluminum and maybe even composites), quality tools, etc...

Did you see the "superwide & sticky" tennis shoes offered for that purpose - 10" wide on a 5" wide foot!

Yeah, Boeing Surplus!
It's kind of a well-known secret place, which means the crowds can be pretty big at opening time. It's a great place to buy tools and office furniture. Another special mecca is McLendon's Hardware.. lots of building supplies. I like to walk around McLendon's and look at stuff. It's like a toy store for hardware junkies. If only they had a classic Lionel electric train that went around the store, it would be perfect.
