I've developed a box that will mount in your car that will
automatically mix two camera signals in a bunch of
different useful ways.

* It will do several sizes/locations picture-in-picture, and also
split screen top and bottom.
* You can mirror image the second screen if it's pointing
backward and you want it to look like a rear-view mirror.
* It has an optional on-screen timer showing to 1/10 second.

Of course not exclusive to 914, but that's where I've done
all my development and testing. I've been doing some
captures, will get more variety at next event. Mostly I've
been pointing into the footwell to see what I'm doing.

I can also compare my co-driver to me by running two
players on my computer side-by-side.

You can check out several video samples and plenty
more info at my web site:

Will check at home, but if I recall it is about 90degrees. It's been
important to me not to butcher the car and not drill holes, so it's
mounted on an aluminum piece screwed into two of the holes of
the targa bar trim. Bullet cam using the usual ball mount stuff.
