1976 VW Porsche Sport Rim * needs full restoration.

Price: FREE

Stamped 10/1975. Offset ET+40 for deeper tuck-in under fenders. VW/Audi stamps too.
Has the standard 4x130, 4 bolt pattern to fit many Vintage aircooled VWs, dune buggies, trikes, etc.

Typical Sport Wheels, like those on the famous SunBug are only 4.5J wide,
and have a shallower offset of ET+34 often times.

This is the WIDER, 5.5J x 15 Sport Wheel. Off of a Porsche 914.

As you can see, the inside is too pitted up for me to deal with myself.
You can see where I tried to hand sand or file a bit, but wasn't getting too far.

If you have access to bench grinders, sandblasters, or even are skilled enough to
re-shell, re-band, weld, or stretch custom wheels...then this will make a good project for you.

Either try to smooth it out and run an inner tube with it.
Or scrap the outer shell completely, weld on a new one, and make it any width or offset you want.

Sometimes folks buy these really for the centers alone & make custom 6 or 7 inch wide wheels out of them.
Or repair and resell for like $50 to $75 each.

Available for FREE local pick-up in New Jersey 07070,
OR just pay the parcel post shipping/postage + $5.00 to cover shipping/handling/paypal charges.

So, for example, if you are in South Carolina, Postage would be $16.00 to mail + $5 S&H = $21.00 total.

Thanks for looking & hopefully you can save this one from the trash heap!
And get it out of my apt!

Who knows? Maybe you could even make a cool stool or side table out of it?

Please call andrejs cell 201-290-8524 or email for more info or appointment.
