Anyone know where all the wires go on a 1.8L L-jet ignition harness? I've got all of them but one that I forgot to label before I rebuilt the engine.

Pulled the engine Jan. 1st and have gotten it all back together with the exception of one wire.

Please don't ask the original color, because it has been spliced by the PO right at the sheathing. It's red now. I think it used to be tan/beige?

I already have the oil pressure switch, coil + & -. It travels right alongside those wires.

Bowlsby doesn't have a drawing on the 74 1.8 L-jet harness.

EDIT: just found a pic of it. The short red/orange lead. Where does it go? Ground?

A big apology to Mr. Bowlsby! It is indeed on his site!

I should have double checked when I didn't see it the first time.

Thank you Jeff.

Got it Cap'n. I'll trim back the harness and I'm sure I'll see a brown wire spliced to a nice red one. WTF.gif
I will promptly splice the proper color coded wire on it.

It has to be the ground.
