Hey guys,
Picked this cable up at a swap meet. Was told it was a 914-6 throttle cable and the bracker mounted on the transaxle. Does it look like one to you guys?
Thanks
Dave

It appears that way. Kinda ratty, though.

Both ends of the cable are supposed to be threaded. I can't tell in the pic. Patrick motor sport has a reproduction for $50. It is a grayish color but otherwise nice quality.

Both ends are threaded and the ball socket is on the bellcrank end. Front thread for accelerator connection looks cut and cable is kinked. Bracket would mount to trans side cover.

I made my bracket and used a /4 cable ... biggrin.gif

Oh, and don't call me an expert because I gave an answer .............

Thanks for the info guys. I"m fabbing my own but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to misrepresent the bracket. Need to find it a home. Ron, no offense with the expert comment. Hehe
