Got a buddy with a 73 tr6 that has not run in years. Does anyone know of an old Triumph specialist in the east bay?

The TR6 motors are pretty simple compared to 914's...
Basically a 6 cyl tractor motor with duell strombergs....
Sorry - but I can't help you out on the east bay question,
but from what I remember there are some pretty decent
TR6 forums that most likely can answer that question...

There was an Alfa shop right on your side of the bridge that also worked on Triumphs. I'll see if I can find their name. Don't know if they're still around. This was 10 years ago. They rebuild my Alfas rear end and did fantastic work for a decent price.

There used to be a couple in West Berkeley IIRC. What would be great if I could find maybe a retired mechanic that wanted to make a few extra bucks.
