Hey Dustin, if it's anything like the EGR counters on the VW busses, no...
Normally all this box does is count how many miles you've put on since the last time the reset button was pressed, turns on the EGR light and let's you know it's time to change the EGR valve...
Since most of us here North of the border have long ago removed the EGR valve, we usually rewire the thing to count 3000 miles instead of 50K, let's us know when it's time to change the oil...
Or you can just take it out, find a longer speedo cable, and remove one more pound out of your car...
