Looking for a replacement needle and seat cap circled in red. PO really boogered it up bad and rounded the hex head. They dont seem to be availible from Porsche and its not in the rebuild kit.

Thanks, That gave me a parts list so I have verified the P/N of 61002.005 but they dont seem to have it. I will call tomorrow to verify

You are in southern CA...right in the heart of all the VW shops and you cant find parts for an IDA carb...

Seems like an off the shelf part at a typical VW parts place..
They all sell IDA carbs..

Found them at $9 each at www.youroil.net

They sell alot of webber parts including manifolds sized to your heads, Linkage and more.

PMO used to have those, and fibre washers to go with it.
