staying near washington square. going to mess around in greenwich and hit some vintage clothing stores and she loves diners (my kinda kid!). any other suggestions in the area?

Teenager? NYC is a Mecca for people watching. You can walk the Brooklyn Bridge grab a pizza on the other side if the line is short enough but you can walk and talk and enjoy a pretty cool view of the city.

I find searching for a washroom in Central Park is amusing as well.
