it's being in NoCal... I lived in Sacramento for a year, and I was like "hella this" and "hella that." Came back to San Jose, and started talking normal again. He's in Palo Alto, that's north enough, I think.

Im considering disconnecting my sway bar. 22mm torsions and 200# springs seem to be a happy match, but adding a 22mm sway bar to tha creates understeer. Anybody wanna trade some 22mm bars for 20 or 21mm bars?

Hey Brad, could you build me a 914 from the ground up? Maybe make it a /6? And then hand paint it? For free?

I have 21mm Tbars and am going to 275lb in the rear and get a set of 300s JIC. The 225 rears ain't cuttin' it (full soft on the Tarret AR bar). I'm also lifting the inside rear tire in the tights.....makes for some cool black lines on them corners

JP, I was lifting the wheels until I installed the inner stiff kit from Engman. Car is flat and rotates perfectly.

I use the SRP 31mm front anti roll bar at 2/3 soft BTW

i bought a set of racing-slicks for my car (from Bill P.) ...


and to make them fit i need:

different spacers,
which means i need longer studs,
which means now is the time for real 911 hubs and my set of 914/6 stub-axles,
which means new bearings,
which means, now is the time for the new trailing arms (and junk the old bend ones),
which means i should really put muellers roller-bearings in there first,
which means, if i go through all that trouble, now's the time to get new half-shafts (because mine are worn out),
which means, now's also the time to get the heavier spings in the back so i can actually *use* the front bar,
which leads to the worn shocks in the front,
which may has something to do with the lose front bearings,
which of course means i also need longer studs in the front,
which means now would be the time to rebuild the carrera calipers (that have sticky pistons),
which means that i'll need a new alignment.

oh, and have i told you about the problems i have with the motor???


*sigh*, i have no idea why he doesn't want to touch my car ...

Hi Andrew! Nice to see you on the board.

I missed a shift at Buttonwillow July 4th weekend and blew my motor.

I bought a new tub, 915 WEVO, 993 3.6, and a whole host of goodies.
The new car should be ready by the start of next season.

Funny how a missed shift leads to a whole new car and being out of
competition for ~9 months....

Hopefully we will get out there at the start of next year.
