Not being very pooter literate I am having difficulty understanding some of the abbreviations, for example, what does OT mean?

Feeling stupid here in Moncton

OT = off-topic. WOT = Way off topic, if used in a subject; wide open throttle if used in that context

Some other commonly seen abbreviations: IMHO (in my humble opinion), LOL (laugh out loud), LMAO (laughing my ass off), etc.

BTW, one abbreviation missing from the FAQ: IIRC (if I recall correctly).

Then of course, there's all the abbr. for FI (fuel injection) components:

MPS - manifold pressure sensor
TPS - throttle position sensor
AAR - auxilary air regulator
CHT - cylinder head temp
CPU - central processing unit, or brain

and I'm sure there's more that I've missed. Takes a while to learn the lingo around here. wink.gif Especially Miles' lingo!
