1987 Porsche 924S, Black on Black, the completed project car in nice condition. The 924S was the fastest of the 2.5L 924/944 Porsche series; this is a fairly quick little car, excellent handling watercooled front engine, rear wheel drive with a 5 speed manual transmission. Runs very well with approximately 126,000 miles, straight rust free body, original Porsche script interior, no tears or rips.. Was originally purchased as a non-running project car from what appears by title, the original owner. Head gasket was blown and valves were bent, but everything was removed, machined and rebuilt. Previous owner had recently replaced the full exhaust with high flow stainless steel full system ,brakes and clutch. Car drive and handles impressively, have engine rebuild photos showing rebuild, clean undamaged piston heads and unscored cylinder walls, the car is pretty good and a lot better than most posted for more money. Asking $3250 need to move, need room in shop. Would consider other non-running sports car plus cash up or down in trade (mechanical issues only, no crash survivors). Actual condition details as follows;

ENGINE: 2.5 Porsche motor, fully rebuilt head, tanked, decked and polished, new valves, seats cut, guides replaced, caps, OEM (Vic-Rein) performance gasket set, compression at higher end of factory spec, even all cylinders, new thermostat, fresh antifreeze, hoses, filters, new plugs, rotor, distributor cap and wires. Intake manifold polished and ported, rebuilt throttle body with new idle switch. ECU/DME Computer replaced with new rebuilt, transferable 5 year warrentee, all electric connections cleaned and checked.

BELTS: New timing belt, balance belt set and tensioned, new alternator/air con belt, new power steering belt

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM: Fully rebuilt, injectors resealed, cleaned and set, fuel regulator, dampener and filter, fuel pump, new idle control valve

PREVIOUS OWNER"S Recent repairs include all 4 brakes, full high flow exhaust with cat and muffler, new clutch, all appear to be professionally done and correct

BODY, (BLACK): rust free, normal rock chipped and minor scratches. Car could be close to a show car with a decent paint job, but as is, is a presentable driver.

INTERIOR (BLACK): Original Porsche script in nice condition, no known tears in any seats, rear left side seat belt receiver is broken, dash has normal cracks.

TIRES: New about 1000 miles, tread like new
