Met I guy with a white 76 car. very clean and from what I could see very rust free.

Then met a guy that has a project also named Punkin by his better half.

Turned them both onto the club hope they show up here and jon the Mania of 914 ownership.

I know they must have thought I was a Kook becuase I was poppin trunk lids engine lids doors talkin Autocross. Yes I LOVE THESE CARS.

Last blast home on the 1.7L @ 85 MPH for 45 minutes. You would think I would learn to slow down when it starts knocking. I'm such a dumb ass.

You didn't burn it up did ya? As I remember you took some jugs home from Gold Bar. Maybe it's time for a rebuild. Still, sad to hear about your problem.

not really a problem. Had a nagging oil leak also. I JUST HATE THAT.
Using the pistons and cylinders on Rob Watson's engine.
I already had a 2.0L hopped up and ready to go.

This will be a carbed engine with a 86B web cam. Dual valve spring, ported and polished, 40 IDF's Meling oil pump. all the engine health gauges. It used to push the Cool Blue Teener to 120 MPH. biggrin.gif

1.7L on the ground. Looks Like I got a weepy Oil cooler.
idea.gif Maybe I can get one of them Raby short stroke 100 HP motors. mueba.gif
