going to houston tonight for a few meetings tomorrow morning then out in the afternoon. i arrive at 830 and should be at the double tree around 930pm. is this too late to get any good food in the area? if there are any mexican restaurant suggestions around the doubletree downtown, please let me know.

Scott, I am sorry that I didn't see your post sooner. I live in Houston, but am in Shreveport, LA for the week on business. Next time you come in send me a message and I'll pick you up in one of my V8 cars and we can expense a beer to two. Lots of good food, but most are a bit off the main paths. Great Bar-b-cue also, but Williams Smokehouse is not a place to go to if you are in a rental car. The food is great, but the neighborhood is not so hot. David Lee
