Specifically engineered mounting head kit provides an extremely sturdy mount without the use or installation of a secondary stand off metal bracket inside of the car body. This important design feature allows installation on many of the Porsche models which have limited underside access and it greatly simplifies installation on all cars. In fact, most of the time this well designed model can be installed from outside the car!
Four section black mast provides maximum reception.
Mounts from the outside of the car through any of the common small antenna car body holes originally installed or it can be mounted from the inside out through an antenna hole as small as 3/8".
Can be mounted on a flat or angled surface and can be flared back for classic rear fender applications.
No need to cut out an antenna hole if you use a car cover.
Completely out of the way while servicing or cleaning your vehicle.
Cannot be extended without the key when fully retracted to help prevent vandalism.
Manual antenna so no power is required.
Requires only 9 1/2 inches of under body depth. Different dealers, previous owners, or restoration shops may have relocated the antenna location. Please check to be sure that you have the necessary 9 1/2 inches of underbody clearance to house the antenna tube.
Includes 48" of cable with a male radio end plug. Some Porsche front fender locations need more than 4 feet of cable. Please check to see if 48" of cable will either reach the back of your radio or an existing antenna cable connector. If not, an extension cable will be required to reach your radio. If you do need an extension I do carry them for $8.00.
