I have a Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio that dates to the late 70's. After a bit of research, it appears this specific Frankfurt model was used mostly in Mercedes sedans and some VW's. It is a 4 channel unit (L/R Front and L/R Rear speakers). It is in excellent cosmetic shape and has been tested to work. The only issue with this radio is the antenna connector needs to be replaced. It has the DIN output connector for an iPod hook up. The PO stated that it was taken out of an 80 Range Rover and then stored unit last month.

Although this radio is not date correct for any 70-76 914, it is somewhat period correct and would work well in a 914. To use as a 2 channel radio in a 914, plug speakers into the Front L/R output jacks and change/move the Front/Rear Fader knob to full front. The unit will sound just like it was a 2 channel unit.

Included in the sale is a second almost identical unit that appears to have a VW model number on it. This second unit can be repaired or used for spare parts as necessary. It does not have the DIN plug. I do not have the original faceplate for either unit but it can be installed without a faceplate using the standard vinyl covered 914 dash/radio faceplate.

Asking $90.00 OBO for both units plus Continental US shipping (only) from 97205. No International shipping.

Thanks for looking!
