Whats the best way to removing the throw out bearing pivot stud? It's the one with the ball end screwed into the transaxle.

Unscrew it. It's not that hard.

use a wrench to unscrew it.

I use a sawzall-smiley.gif and then put it back with welder.gif

Chris I used a 14mm 1/4 drive deepwell socket .

as socket with a thin sidewall will do, you might need to grind it down a bit ...
