Dose anyone know if the 3.8 supercharged buick fits a 914? I'm at high altitude and hate turbo lag. Is the engine itself worth while?

That engine was my original choice till I heard about all the vibration issues. It fits right in with no problem. I bought one and had the entire engine balanced and then changed to a V8 instead. Good luck whatever you do.

The supercharged Buick V6 (ala Thunderbird SC) Will fit and is a evan-fire (not odd fire) engine, there sholdnt be ANY unusual vibration. but IIRC the Buick V6 does have a lateral rocking issue.
I dont have any 1st hand exp. with the SC version but I had a hell breathing Turbo ver. in my Vega
