looking at the in the AA catalog i note 2#s. can one from a 75' be installed in 70'?

Full Version: early vs later dash pads.
The size of the glove box or the glove box lid (or both) is what differs on early vs late.

That is because the early cars didn't have the side dash vents so the glove box is a little wider. The only issue you will have with putting a later dash on a early car is the glove box lid won't open all the way open becase the notch in the dash pad is not as wide as the early cars.
i can live with the door issue for awhile. i''ll retain the early top and look into recovering in the future. thanks.
