That's right but, they very rarely speak English

They typically speak better English than we speak German, Dutch, Spanish, French, etc... I found if I tried to speak their language they would usually try to speak English - Especially in Germany!

Nothing special about the car. A friend was using the pic for his 914-6 paint job. I was curious if anyone on the 914world had seen it. Since you know the owner, see if you can add the VIN to the VIN database.
