I am in the process of converting my 914-Sixer to rear 911 brakes (non-turbo) and keep getting different answers on the measurements I have taken. By now I am looking at the situation of "the ball game is being played in a different park than I am in". This means I am getting frustrated.

Does anyone who has done the conversion remember what the spacer demensions are when mounting the 911 caliper to the 914 trailing arm??

How do you make the proper measurements and where are they taken?

Thanks in Advance,
Steve

You'll need a 4.5 to 5mm spacer either under the rotor or under the caliper ears. That would be if you were using a 911 rear caliper and a 20mm 911 rear rotor.

Thanks, Eric!!!! The exact benchmark information I needed. Spacer under the rear caliper ears is being considered at this time.
