ok - i'll go with B - just kidding

The 2.0 heads have spark plugs that angle out to the sides. The 1.7 and 1.8 heads (and Bus 2.0 heads) have plugs that stick straight up. So the set with holes for the spark plugs that are on the side of the engine tin is the 2.0 set, and the set with the spark plug holes on the top part is for a 1.7 or 1.8.

So yeah, set A.
