i have a 73 teener and i just bought a 75 engine(1.8 fi) and was wondering if all the under hood connections were the same or will i have to convert some things

depending on what you have, you should be able to "plug and play".
assuming you have FI, the harness between the ECU and engine stuff is self contained, i think. the plug to the relay board is the same.
describe a little more what you're starting with, ie, long block <-> complete engine.... FI or carbs....

is a regular 1.8 with fi and thats it..
