My tires are definitely on the ropes right now and was wondering what others use on gurneys. Also what are the max size and can what is the minimum wall height?

Eagle GT 205/70 15.

My favorite street tire for these cars.
You will not be disappointed.

i'm thinking Eagle GT 195/65 15.

* i don't think gurney's have the correct backspace as 4 lug fuchs or stock steelies

will 205s fit on gurney westerns?
stugray
If you have positive offset, then err on the smaller side and use the 195s.

Otherwise, I have seen 205s that just barely drag at extreme turn angles.

those Eagle GTs look nice. 195/65 may work, I just took a good set of Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S 205/65 R15 off my care because of clearance to the front fender (maybe I have other problems causing this).

I just put a set of Nitto Neo Gen 205/50s on yesterday. Granted, I have 8" Cookie cutters. They are about the same price, but softer 280 tread wear. They look and fit real nice, but i haven't had a chance test them out in earnest.
