So I started the car and ran it 5 miles, then i parked it and wiped it down with a damp cloth.

I have a ton of juice in the battery and a hot start kit installed (good fuse).

Less than 1 hour after I parked it I tried to start it again and only get a click from the solenoid. It's a practically brand new Bosch high torque starter

Checked the fuses and wire connections and everything looks solid.

Is my starter cooked?

(I'm going down to jump the switch now, but that doesn't make sense as I get a click... but I'm doing it anyway)

What else should I do?

Had that happen once when my starter got jammed. Put the car in fifth gear and rolled it a couple feet and it worked and never happend again. Hope it's that simple for you.

Winner!

Either that or the hot start kit is useless.

THANKS! Enjoy those Tennessee roads for me!
