You realize that '74 914's had black pockets regardless of interior color!

Not mine...the top is black and the side is brown...that is the way it came from the dealer.

Ok. Must have changed mid 1974 mine is black on a tan interior.

find a cheap ratted up seat in the correct color and cut a piece out of the back side of the seat large enough to cover the pocket. or have the owner of the "cheap seat" cut the piece and toss the rest. you'll save lot-o-$$ on shipping. if you can, post a picture of the vinyl you need.
