I am looking for a replacement cylinder head temperature sensor. Can't find one on the Bird and AA's numbers are funky. Where can I order one?

From Brad Ander's site: "I suggest using the 0 280 130 012 head temperature sensor, but I have found this part difficult to obtain. From what I can tell, the 0 280 130 003 sensor is nearly the same (it has a longer lead wire) and is readily available."

Any ideas of where I can find either one?

$12.35 sounded way to good to be true www.autohausaz.com doesent list a 73 2.0, just a 1.7 which is a different sensor. The 73 2.0 used the one model only 0 280 130 017 sensor. Very hard to come by these days. You might have an easier time just changing the ECU and MPS out for the 74 parts and using the more common 003 or 012 sensor.

For the 012.

012 is a standard VW FI beetle, type 3, bus, Vanagon sensor. Any aircooled VW shop should have it.
