Does anyone else offer stainless, chrome, or plain steel bumpers for the 914? Seems like there would be a good market for them. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places? confused24.gif

They're stainless rather than chrome...I've seen them cheaper than the current list price but I think that's the only other "new" option...

Which car you gonna put them on? The green car at scotty's? If the green car (you said would be a driver....) I'd put on fiberglas bumpers.... about $190-ish each....

The ones on the green car are pretty good...but not perfect. I just thought that if I could get bumpers for a "reasonable price" (whatever that means) I would upgrade them.

The green car will be a "driver"; however, it will be nicer than the vast majority of other 914's on the road. With the rust repair, new paint by Scott, new interior, new seals, etc. it would be a "show car" in many local venues biggrin.gif

Bill, I have a pair of chrome in very decent shape, I would consider selling them and taking them to Scotty if you are interested. PM if interested.
