Just talked to rimco and was told that my cases required an align bore and they are now .20 over. Crank just needed a polish. Does this mean I need to order .20 over main bearings?

Yep. When rimco align bored my case, they had bearings in stock. I think they were Mahle.

You need standard crank, 20 over on the case. BTW, I can't remember EVER seeing a T4 case that needed an align bore, including a couple of cars that were time trialing weekly for a couple of years. The Cap'n

funny how sometimes cases sent to RIMCO for work wind up needing rare bearings only they seem to have in stock ...

I've been using RIMCO sence the 70s and never had a problem with them.

I always heard that line boing a T-IV was very rarely needed, if ever.
