Just talked to rimco and was told that my cases required an align bore and they are now .20 over. Crank just needed a polish. Does this mean I need to order .20 over main bearings?

Yep. When rimco align bored my case, they had bearings in stock. I think they were Mahle.

You need standard crank, 20 over on the case. BTW, I can't remember EVER seeing a T4 case that needed an align bore, including a couple of cars that were time trialing weekly for a couple of years. The Cap'n

funny how sometimes cases sent to RIMCO for work wind up needing rare bearings only they seem to have in stock ...

I always heard that line boing a T-IV was very rarely needed, if ever.
