been messing with the rear control-arms tonight (yes, I actually spend some time in the garage!)

How does the hub come out of the control-arm?
Should I take it to a shop with a press or can I smash.gif this myself?

cheers,

Jeroen

I bought a bearing tap and pounded it out! You will have to replace the Bearing anyway smash.gif

the right size pipe worked for me (well, actually the guy at the shop who pounded it out).

A piece of pipe or a socket the right size to tap out the hub, then tap out the bearing from the trailing arm. I used a 3lb maul to hit it with cuz one side stuck in there pretty good. Spray the hell out of everything with PB Blaster or the Dutch Oil Release Spray.

Did the old 4-5 lug conversion about 3 months ago. As everyone indicated smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif away!!!!

You won't be reusing it so beat the hell out of it. Make sure you have it up on SOLID stands.

Cheers
